In a bid to solicit support for his legislative second term and that of the political hurricane, President Arthur Peter Mutharika, ahead of the fast approaching May 21 polls, Member of Parliament (MP) for Phalombe North-East, Dennis Namachekecha has, through his recent mega rallies proven that, come May 22, 2019, another DPP’s landslide victory will indeed be actualized.
The MP who is well known among constituents for fast transforming the face of the once badly shaped area that ranked high in terms of poverty, took the constituency by storm when he dated mammoth crowds during campaign rallies at Nkholonje School ground in Group Village Headman Mtemanyama, Senior Chief Chiwalo before he met thousands more at Changa School ground in Group Village Headman Maoni in the area of Senior Chief Nazombe.
In his message, the parliamentarian reminded the people of the two Wards of Swang’oma and Mauzi how the DPP has spread public demanded development projects across the country, which is enough proof that, it’s only the DPP that has a serious development agenda for the nation.
Further in his reminder, Namachekecha said, the transformation the country has registered in the past five years owes to the wise and visionary leadership of Professor Peter Mutharika, the President and Statesman who is geared to do wonders for Malawi if given another term of office.
Said Namachekecha: “Our President has enough reason to continue as leader because, through what he has delivered, he has clearly demonstrated that he is the right man to take Malawi to another level in the next five years.”
He therefore urged eligible voters in the constituency to keep the uniformity when they go to polls by voting for only DPP candidates, starting with the councillor, parliamentarian and President.
During his first term, Namachekecha focused much on Women and Youth Empowerment, Improving Education, Better Roads Infrastructure, Transforming Agriculture and Water and Sanitation.
He had during his campaign in the year 2014 signed a social contract with traditional leaders, a document which has been his ultimate guide that has enabled him to end up fulfilling what he promised to deliver.
Through this charming document, Emuhiye Dennis Namachekecha is apparently the people’s favourite when it comes to Phalombe North-East and it’s MP for the next five years.
