MPONELA OC URGES FORM 4 STUDENTS TO UPHOLD DISCIPLINE

Mponela police station Officer_ In_ Charge, Chikondi Chingadza, has urged outgoing Form 4 students to always maintain high levels of discipline as it is a catalyst for their success.

Chingadza who is Deputy Commissioner of police said most students when they complete form 4 tend to think that they are through with studies forgetting that MSCE is just the starting point of a long academic journey.

She said success require discipline of the mind urging them to maintain it when they write their examinations and going home.

Speaking at Tchawale Community Day Secondary school in Dowa recently during the graduation of the 2019 form 4 classes alongside their sister school, Chimkango CDSS, Chingadza encouraged the students to work hard in class for them to step into the University of Malawi corridors saying this is the right time for the youths to reflect on their future in education and other careers.

She said as a country, Malawi is predominantly a youthful nation relying on its youths to work for the government agencies such as police.

The O/C said police need able bodied people not weaklings asking the students to take care of themselves by staying away from immoral behaviours such as drug and alcohol abuse and sexual liaisons.

In his remarks, Headteacher for Tchawale CDSS, Sajeni Kamanga applauded the men and women in uniform for the motivational talk and career guidance.

During the event for Tchawale and Chimkango CDSS, Chingadza splashed different prizes to outstanding students as one one way of encouraging a hard working spirit among others.
