DPP Southern Region Gurus Draw Strategy During Indaba

Henchmen in the governing Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) drawn from the southern region have given shape to strategy on how they must forge ahead amid growing criticism against the party and it’s leadership.

During their meeting at the party’s regional office at Sunnyside in the commercial city of Blantyre, the party’s regional top brass have among other things agreed to hold victory parades in the country’s four political regions.

At the helm of things, Kondwani Nankhumwa who is the party’s Vice President for the Southern Region said, it’s now high time for the party should rise and mount defence around its President as well as government.

Nankhumwa said, there is need to mount strong defens against politicians who doing everything to tarnish the image of DPP and President Arthur Peter Mutharika.

The meeting which was called by Nankhumwa in conjunction with the party’s Secretary General, Grezeldar Jeffrey attracted the presence of big wigs in the likes of Ben Phiri, Joseph Mwanavekha, Nicholas Dausi, Mary Navicha and the party’s Regional Governor, Charles Mchacha.
