KB Coach Blast Mzuzu Referees
The Kamuzu Barrack Football Club coach Billy Phambala could not hide his anger on the way how the officiating team handled the game his side went down to Moyale Barrack in a Tnm Super League match played on Saturday in Mzuzu.
Playing before a sizeable crowd the game which was too physical did not give the much excitement people expected.
Despite characterized by so many physical challenges the both sides created several scoring opportunities but lacked the cutting edge.
Moyale Barracks took advantage of the shaky KB defence line to put their military counterparts under siege.
One of the Kaning’ina soldiers was brought down in the penalty box only for Gastin Simkonda to make no mistake by putting Moyale in front from the penalty spot in the 48th minute.
KB could not settle down to create real scoring opportunities a situation which helped Moyale’s goal minder Macdonald Harawa to come out with a clean sheet.
After the game the angry KB Coach, Billy Phambala could not swallow the loss so easily by uttering some abusive words to the officiating panel that was led by elite referee, Misheck Juba as it walk to the dressing room.
“You have seen for yourselves how these men in black can spoil what could be good games, I don’t know what they want us to do,
“Tomorrow we are meeting Mzuni and that is another game, we are prepared but let those to officiate the game be professional,” Phambala said.
Moyale Barracks coach, Collins Mkuna expressed happiness with what he described as five star performance from his charges.
” Am happy the boys have done the recommendable job, you know they expected to collect maximum points on us which has was the case in the first round,” Mkuna said.
Elsewhere Karonga United narrowly beat Civil Sporting by a goal to nil while the lakeshore side Dwangwa United clobbered Mlatho Mponela by also the same margin.
