NRFA Officials Found Stranded In Karonga
Despite being selfish to some candidates vying for positions at this year’s football Association of Malawi (FAM) elective general assembly slated for December , the NRFA officials were stranded in Karonga and they were found calling for an SOS.
In the evening, the NRFA league officials who went to watch the Nyasa Big Bullets against Savenda Chitipa United match were found with no food, accommodation and transportation.
The situation forced the officials to seek assistance from Alufeyo Chipanga Banda whom they have vehemently rejected even just to meet so as to appreciate about his ambitious FAM presidential bid.
The NRFA’s General Secretary Masiya Nyasulu has on several occasions stressed that they’ll support James Mwenda and Lameck Khonje at the December FAM polls.
Ironically Nyasulu ducked his colleague Joshua Chinguwo only to meet Chipanga Banda who finally secured food and accommodation for the embattled NRFA’s Secretary General.
Several observers whom this reporter interviewed expressed disappointment with the prostitutional conduct which the NRFA’s chief executive officer has demonstrated.
“I think the guy lacks that sense of humor, he castigate these other candidates in public saying the NRFA is no go zone for some of these candidates buying food and paying for their accommodation tonight,
“Thus typical a prostitutional behaviour, how come he’s driven in that Chipanga’s vehicle at this late hour of the night, so is that Mr Mwenda dealing with the right people?
“All along they have been cheating Mwenda and only to be exposed like this, now they just want to fatten their bellies taking advantage of the situation ,” said the observer
The NRFA has been the first regional Football Association to endorse individuals in a number of positions at this year’s FAM polls despite no official communication from the national associations electoral body to start off with the endorsements of candidates.
In an interview earlier in the evening Chipanga Banda told reporters that his manifesto which is a true soccer development agenda is now ready for a launch any day this week.
