Beyond recognition will be the face of Phalombe North East within a short period of time, should what the firebrand parliamentarian for the area, Emuhiye Dennis Namachekecha has laid out in his master plan is implemented.

During his recent massive and highly patronised rally at Lihaka School ground, Namachekecha communicated to the mammoth crowd of supporters and well wishers, the contents from his huge constituency developmental calabash.

As Namachekecha laid out a litany of developments which he has already splashed out in all corners of the area, his voice was swallowed in ululation and deafening applause of the frantic crowd so overcome with joy had depicted utter satisfaction.

Said Namachekecha: “You are all my witnesses to how much I have achieved in these few years and I promise much more beyond 2019.”

With more emphasis and so much determined, the legislature promised of key roads and bridges, water projects, health facilities, school blocks and agricultural schemes as his ultimate goal for the area.

Apparently, on his achievement list, Namachekecha has already constructed countless bridges and upgraded key roads that were previously impassable.

Additionally, the lawmaker has made an impressive provision of clean water through drilling a string of boreholes in the very difficult corners that people used to drink from unsafe sources.

Construction of school blocks and teachers houses have characterised his tenure since 2014.

Colossal project of them all is the K248 Million Madeya bridge which for many years since 1991 has been more of a permanent death trap.

Impressed with his perfomance, business came to a standstill in Phalombe North East constituency when the parliamentarian Member of Parliament made his triumphant arrival at Lihaka School ground for the developmental rally.

Senior Chief Chiwalo, traditional leaders, the business community, religious leaders and youths from the constituency attended the power packed function.

Prior to rally, Namachekecha attended a church service at Mpoto Ethiopian church within Mauzi ward where another frantic joy was witnessed. While at the church, he made a donation of 10 bags of cement towards the church building project.
