As part of an-going campaign aimed at orienting Headteachers and Primary Education Advisors on child and gender-related laws, the Malawi Law Commission today, Wednesday, March 30th, 2022 is holding an awareness meeting with head teachers in Mangochi District.

According to the Commission, the Headteachers are key stakeholders that deal directly with children and community members around their respective schools and they have a big role to play in leading efforts towards protecting, preventing and responding to violence against children.

The meeting has brought together headteachers from four zones namely; Nkope, Sangadzi, Monkey Bay and Thema.

Similar meetings by the Commission, were conducted in the Districts of Salima, Dedza, Kasungu and other zones in Mangochi over the past month.
