Play Soccer Malawi has advised parents in the country to be encouraging their children to participate in sports in schools for them to be disciplined, grow healthy without mental problems.
Play Soccer Malawi Director Patricio Kulemeka said this after donating football jerseys at Kawale and Mchesi Primary Schools in Lilongwe.
In an interview Kulemeka said if parents can inspire their children to participate in sports will benefit them to stay organized in their studies, self control and staying focused on their activities.

He says they decided to donate the uniforms at these schools for the students to use them during their PE lessons. He said the donation has been done with support from Malawi Scotland Partnership which is based in Scotland.
He pledged that the organisation will continue with these projects in different areas of the country as currently they are working in 12 districts such as Lilongwe, Salima, Ntchisi, Nkhotakota, Chikwawa and Mangochi.
Play Soccer Malawi, based in Ndirande, Blantyre was established in 2006 and it runs with a motto of Play For Fun, Learn for Life” .
