DEMOCRACY THREATENED IN MALAWI, PRESIDENT CHAKWERA BRINGING AUTOCRATIC AND IRON FIST GOVERNMENT BACK:
Once a soldier always a soldier, a hyena will never change even if coming from different mountains.
Malawians are regretting for helping a party of darkness back into power. Malawi Congress Party with cruel and violent memories is coming back with the same mentality and heart that forced citizens to remove it from power after 31 years of dictatorship.
30 years later Malawi Congress Party is defiant against the power to the people philosophy of Democracy.
It is just 4 years ago citizens led by a coalition of civil society organizations flocked into streets of Lilongwe where the incumbent government officials presided and supported if not sponsored.
It was the very same mass action of demonstrations that helped MCP to come into power today after a complete and total failure of its government and leadership, president Lazarus Chakwera and Vice president Saulos Chilima have become dictators over night.
Former president Peter Mutharika and his DPP were condemned and judged harshly for using police to disrupt violent demonstrations that saw the country at a stand still because businesses closed for fear of national protests masterminded by the very guys who are ruling today Chakwera and Chilima.
Muvi Wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party, Centre for the Future, Forum for the Future of Africa condemn and discredit the Tonse Alliance government led by MCP for blackmailing and hoodwinking citizens to support them get the government and turn against the very same people by detaining and torturing our hardwon Democracy.
MCP under Kamuzu Banda fought harder to deny this country freedom of press, freedom to assemble, freedom of expression and government of the people for the people and by the people.
Having been strongest and staunchest players in the struggle for multiparty and Democracy we are appealing to citizens of Malawi, Africa and the World to help or assist Malawi get back our Democracy and our freedom.
After 1994 citizens of Malawi swore never again shall dictatorship, iron fist and autocracy return in this country.
MCP and Tonse Alliance government are doing all and everything to send this country back to its old and aged culture of IRON FIST and DICTATORSHIP.
Malawians! Let us all rise up with the help of other Africans and the world to fight back and get our Democracy back.
We cannot sit by and watch our Democracy being vandalized and destroyed by the party that know nothing or never worked to bring about this freedom.
Hashtag #ClaimingOurDemocracyBack# campaign must start now all over the country and see to it that MCP never ever come back to power again.
Malawi Police Service and Malawi Defence Force must join hands with citizens to CLAIM OUR DEMOCRACY back from the hands of MCP, president Lazarus Chakwera and Vice president Saulos Chilima.
