Member of Parliament for Machinga East Esther Jolobala has expressed concern in the House that government is taking too long to respond to her question concerning the East Bridge deal.
She says she wrote the leadership of the House to have the Minister of Agriculture Sam Kawale respond on how government entered the deal with East Bridge.
But Jolobala has expressed concern that Kawale is not in the country, as communicated by Leader of the House, and this may lead to more delays in giving the response to her question.
Meanwhile, Leader of the House Richard Chimwendo Banda has said Kawale will be in the country between Thursday and Friday and he will give a response on one of those days.
