The board and management of ADMARC Limited remains mum on the future of the suspended General Manager, Rhino Chiphiko. The ADMARC board suspended Chiphiko in May this year over alleged irregular procurement of an official vehicle worth K107 million. Authorities at the state grain marketer are now tossing to each other on who can give details of the current status surrounding the suspended Chiphiko. At the time of Chiphiko’s suspension in May, the ADMARC board disclosed that he was to appear for a hearing within 14 days of the decision. Ministry of Agriculture has seconded director for the Department of Agriculture Extension Services, Jerome Chimg’onda Nkhoma, to Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (Admarc) as interim general manager.
