Airtel Launches Scan And Pay Services
Airtel Money is moving away from the usual lengthy process of transacting when making payments with the Scan and Pay App.
Airtel Money Managing Director, Brighton Banda, said as one way of improving its Airtel Money Services they have come up with the Scan and Pay App to ease congestion.
Banda said the product will be accepted across the country by various merchants.
"This app will be used by customers with smartphones we are not moving away from the USSD as customers with feature phones will still be using the old means," said Banda.
In her remarks, Airtel Money Marketing Manager, Virginia Jere, said all merchants across the country will be using the scan and pay product as one way of speeding up the payment process.
