Kenyatta Orders Consolidation Of Demo Related Cases
High Court Judge Kenyatta Nyirenda has ordered for consolidation of an application to set aside the prohibition of Human Rights Ambassadors-HRA protests with another application for an injunction stopping demos for the same organization on July 20 2022.
Last Friday, Kingsley Mpaso, Redson Munlo and HRA made an application to the court to set aside the Lilongwe District Commissioner's decision stopping their planned demonstrations this Wednesday.
But in a court notice we have seen, Nyirenda says the application is very much similar with case number 2017 of 2022 between John Kwenda and others versus Kingsley Mpaso, Ida Mazinga, Ben Longwe and other unknown people.
