MyBucks Banking Corporation Malawi has rolled out a new mobile payment system that has simplify the way of doing business. In a statement, the bank says the system enables MyBucks Banking Corporation Malawi registered mobile banking customers to easily pay fees for schools, hospitals, and churches, thereby simplifying transactions through technology. The bank’s head of channels Felix Chitera says the need for an efficient and cost-effective payment method for students, churches and hospitals, compelled the bank to develop the system. Blantyre based woman, Nellie Mwanyongo has been announced the winner of the five-day trip to Seychelles, a grand prize which MyBucks Banking Corporation put on stake in its Sizoni Yanga promotion which was launched in June last year. He is an experienced banker having worked personal and business banking environments with Nedbank Malawi and Standard Bank Malawi. Felix has extensive experience in finance and audit environments. Before joining the banking sector, he had worked as Finance and Administration Manager with DEMAT, the then government sponsored Micro-enterprise development organization and in audit at Graham Carr. Felix holds Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Malawi- The Polytechnic and a Master on Business Administration from Milpark Business School (RSA).
