The Malawi Electoral Commission-MEC says it is fully prepared to administer by-elections in Dedza Central Constituency tommorow, Thursday.
Its spokesperson Sangwani Mwafulirwa says there are 60 polling stations across the constituency as 47, 713 people are set to cast their votes.
Willard Gwengwe of Malawi Congress Party, Jacob Kaumphawi on independent ticket and Andrew Kowedza of Democratic Progressive Party will be battling it out.
Mwafulirwa adds the Main Tally Centre will be at Mountain View Lodge, along M1 Road in the district.
The Commission is expected to announce the final results on Friday 17 November, 2023.
The parliamentary seat felt vacant following the death of MCP’s Daniel Chiwere in July this year.
