The Football Association of Malawi has today held the 2024 FDH bank cup draw at Mpira village in Blantyre.
According to FAM’s competitions director Gomezgani Zakazaka, the competition is set to start from 25 May, 2024.
With a total of 70 teams ( 21 teams from the southern and central regions and 28 teams from the north) this year’s cup value been adjusted upwards from 120 million to 150 million kwacha.
From last year’s 30 million kwacha for the champions, the 2024 champions will walk away with a whopping 35 million kwacha and the runners will get 15 million kwacha from the 7 million kwacha.
Semifinalists will get 7 million kwacha each from last year’s 2 million kwacha.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets were winners last year after beating MAFCO by 3 goals to nil.
