Political activist Bon Kalindo has advised President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to read the signs on the wall that if the same people who voted for him massively in the June, 2020 elections have started stoning, insulting and castigating him, this means that they don’t want him to be their President.
He said it is very dangerous to force people to vote for Chakwera out of giving them handouts in the form of money, t-shirts and Zitenje’s saying the very same people will forget the good gesture and start mobilizing each other to turn against him.
He said President Chakwera must wear a human heart of understanding situations surrounding him warning him that forcing people to vote for him will land him into trouble, he will fall miserably with or without Smartmatic machine because the citizens are very angry against him.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said if President Chakwera has advisors in good faith, they would have advised him to step down honorably other than waiting for the last trumpet to be blown for the citizens to drive him out of State House.
Kalindo said as the signs are reading on the wall, Malawians will not accept Smartmatic machine to be used in their country warning MCP and President Chakwera that if they are insisting on the use of this machine, Malawians will not sit down and watching this, but to rise up.
He has claimed that early danger warning sounds have gone to State House through pictures from Mangochi with Dr. Atupele Muluzi, Nsanje and Chikwawa with Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, saying the people in these three districts have spoken for themselves.
The activist has alleged that after Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika held a successful whistle-stop in Chikwawa and Nsanje, National Registration Bureau officers disappeared in the centres with reasons best explained by MCP government.
Kalindo said millions of Malawians are all aware that Mec will not preside over a free, fair, credible and transparent 2025 elections saying what remains now is to do away with the Smartmatic machine for it to be back to the sender.
“Malawians have already said a big “no” to Smartmatic machine, if you are thinking that you will bounce back into government with the support of this machine, think twice,” said Kalindo.
He has finally advised President Chakwera to think outside the box that him only and his MCP are the ones advocating for Smartmatic machine to transmit elections results to the Tally centre while opposition parties, activists and the entire population of Malawi are on one side against the evil plans of rigging the 2025 elections.
