Human Rights Advocator Sir Charles Ben Longwe, has accused Bishops, Reverends, and Pastors of the Christian church for failing to handle their fellow Reverend President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for him to do better but instead, taking from him khaki envelopes.
Ben Longwe said the way President Chakwera has run this country is very much desired and is contrary to what many Malawians were thinking that President Cakwera being one who speaks in tongues at his Church-Malawi Assemblies of God, would take Malawians to the promised land, Canaan.
He said President Chakwera has been proved by Malawians that beside being called Reverend at the Malawi Assemblies of God, there is no God in him, the people of Malawi are under oppression, blessed are those who preaches the good news of the Kingdom of God and not President Chakwera.
Speaking from his Hard Knocks university, Ben Longwe said president Chakwera just the same as other Reverends, Pastors and Sheikhs who have been going to the State House for Khaki envelops, has been judged not worthy to be the country’s leader claiming that he has abused Malawians more than the previous presidents.
Ben Longwe said President Chakwera and other Reverends and Pastors have put to shame the Christian church in Malawi claiming that Moslems are better than Christians, corruption to Islam is evil while to the Christian church, it is accepted.
He said Malawians are sitting on a time bomb and it will explode anytime looking at the way the local currency is floating everyday claiming that within weeks from now, a bag of 50Kilogram maize will be sold at K200,000.
The Advocator said Malawi under the reign of President Chakwera has been totally destroyed beyond repair faulting Malawians themselves for not standing up to protest saying because of this silence, MCP has taken an upper hand to take everything including the laws into their hands.
He has advised opposition leaders living in the Southern Region of Malawi to think of what the country has reached today and forget their differences to liberate the country from the shackles of the MCP dictatorship warning Malawians that President Chakwera will use money to divide and rule the South.
“If not careful, President Chakwera will buy all prominent opposition members in the South where there are 4 political parties unlike the North and Central region which has one party each,” said Ben Longwe.
He expressed hope that if the opposition parties in the southern region can make one strong alliance, Malawi will be liberated and by 2026, hunger will end and if they fail to unite, hunger will be the order of the day claiming lives of many people.
He has finally urged Malawians to join Islam saying Christianity has failed them, Reverends and Pastors have their heads bent on money from President Chakwera while their flocks are in pain, anger and suffering making them forget that there’s God who can punish President Chakwera and all those who have taken hands in the destruction of Malawi.
