FDH Bank Plc has announced an extension of its popular “Vaa Vaa Vroom” promotion, giving customers more time to participate and win exciting prizes.
Initially scheduled to end in April, the promotion will now run until July 31, 2025.
According to the bank, the extension aims to accommodate more customers and enhance their chances of winning.
Speaking during the second draw of the promotion, which took place in Blantyre, FDH Bank’s Senior Marketing and Communication Manager Ronald Chimchere emphasized the bank’s commitment to rewarding its loyal customers.
Chimchere revealed that the extension will benefit an additional 150 winners over the three-month period.
He explained that each month, 50 lucky customers will walk away with K100,000 in cash prizes.
In addition to the monthly winners, two grand prize winners will each receive a brand new Volkswagen Golf 7.
The promotion has generated excitement among FDH customers since its launch, drawing significant participation from across the country.
Customers can enter the “Vaa Vaa Vroom” promotion by performing eligible transactions through *525#, using the FDH Mobile App, or swiping their FDH cards at designated retail outlets.
Participating outlets include popular stores such as Chipiku and Sana, among others.
The bank has also been using the promotion to encourage digital banking and expand the use of its mobile and card-based platforms.
By tying rewards to everyday transactions, FDH Bank is not only promoting financial inclusion but also enhancing customer engagement.
Chimchere noted that the campaign is part of the bank’s broader strategy to strengthen its brand visibility and show appreciation to its growing customer base.
He added that extending the promotion was driven by overwhelming feedback from customers requesting more opportunities to win.
FDH Bank believes that promotions like “Vaa Vaa Vroom” provide added value and build trust in the banking experience.
As the promotion continues into the next quarter, anticipation is rising among customers eager to hear their names called in the next draw.
The bank has assured the public that all draws will remain transparent and audited to ensure fairness.
With the extended timeline and additional prizes, “Vaa Vaa Vroom” promises to remain one of the most talked-about customer loyalty initiatives in Malawi’s banking sector this year.
FDH Bank’s decision to extend the promotion reflects a responsive and customer-centric approach that other financial institutions may look to emulate.
As July 31 draws closer, all eyes will be on the final grand prize draw — and the lucky winners who will soon drive away in style.
