The Umkondo wa Maseko Ngoni has condemned in strongest terms possible politics of castigating political party leaders saying Malawi cannot grow with such politics but only politics of development can take the country to another level.
The Maseko Group has faulted UDF President Atupele Muluzi wrong when he sets the fire lit by standing on a podium speaking publicly that Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is too old to stand for the country’s presidency and he must rest.
The Group has claimed that Atupele Muluzi asked Professor Mutharika to step down for young blood to rule the country describing such remarks as unwelcome not only to DDP supporters but Malawians that are expecting the return of proven leadership in country.
Speaking through an audio clip, Czwe of the Maseko Ngoni has claimed that the youth have failed to lead Malawi saying some of the youthful leaders are the ones who are funding thugs to continue terrorizing, hacking, intimidating and threatening people with pangas in a quest for Boma ndi lomweli silikuchoka.
Czwe said today, patriotic Malawians have realized that youth leadership has failed the country and the only hope they have is to return to the old to look after the welfare of all Malawians as equal and one person.
He said During the Cyclone Freddy, Professor Mutharika travelled from his Page House in Mangochi to districts in the southern region of Malawi sharing a little food he had and money to the survivors while the youthful leaders like Atupele Muluzi did nothing to assist cyclone Freddy victims.
The activist has asked Atupele Muluzi to apologize to Professor Mutharika for the bad remarks claiming that those that are responding to his remarks are DPP supporters not Professor Mutharika reminding Malawians that the same sentiments were made by Dr. Kondwani Nankhumwa, Kenneth Msonda and Grezelder Jeffrey but all failed.
He said if Malawians are rallying behind Professor Mutharika, it is because Malawians were not buying sugar at K6000, a bag of maize at K100,000, bread at K3,500 saying that time, Mutharika was old, prices of essential commodities were a little bit fair than today.
“Castigating Professor Mutharika is casting the whole DPP supporters and Malawians that are preparing for a return to proven leadership on the 16th September, 2025 elections,” said Czwe.
He has called for tight security to Professor Mutharika to the 16th September, 2025 elections for the devil not to touch him and be defeated, adding that some other people are praying very hard wishing for him an early death.
The activist said if Atupele Muluzi was a true leader, he would have stood with the people of Mangochi-Makanjira in demanding from President Chakwera and his MCP to account for all monies meant for this road.
Czwe has finally urged Malawians who remembers that the past was good than today under President Chakwera to remember the old Professor Mutharika, he has answers to the sufferings Malawians are sailing through and he is the only hope for Malawians on the 16th September, 2025 to shame the devil that has buried him while he is alive.
