The Secretary General of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), the Honourable Peter Mukhito, who is also the party’s parliamentary candidate for Lilongwe City Center Constituency, is on his way to Kauma Primary School where he is set to launch the party’s campaign manifesto.
This political rally marks a significant moment in DPP’s campaign strategy as Mukhito officially unveils the party’s vision and promises for the people of Lilongwe City Center ahead of the September 16 parliamentary by-election.
Joining him at the event is former cabinet minister and senior party official Mary Navicha, alongside other high-ranking members of the DPP.
Their presence is expected to boost morale among supporters and underscore the party’s seriousness in reclaiming political ground in the capital.
The manifesto launch at Kauma Primary School aims to outline key development priorities, including infrastructure improvement, youth empowerment, economic revitalization, and enhanced service delivery in the constituency.
Residents of Kauma and surrounding areas are expected to attend in large numbers as the DPP presents its plan to bring tangible change and effective leadership to Lilongwe City Center.
