For the first time in the history of elections in Malawi, 17 presidential candidates have paid K10 million each expressing their interest of standing in the 16th September, 2025 elections raising suspicions that someone is paying money for some of these candidates for undisclosed agenda.
Dr. Dalitso Kabambe, Atupele Muluzi, Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, Dr. Joyce Banda, and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika had there K10 million deposit slips circulating in various social media platforms as evidence that they have paid.
Looking closely at the candidates who have paid K10 million each to Mec, some are not deserving ones raising questions that they cannot source K10 million to pay Mec while their family members, friends and relatives are sleeping with empty stomachs and have no hope for a better tomorrow.
A close check at some of these presidential candidates, their names are new in the country’s political history and if they have political parties, it must be briefcase type parties, Malawians do know their parties and interestingly, many of these are from southern region districts.
Speaking through an audio clip, political activist Bon Kalindo has asked opposition parties and patriotic Malawians to open their eyes that this is another MCP Plan B of vote rigging scheme to split southern region votes to be shared among the competing presidential political players.
Kalindo has warned Malawians of these presidential candidates alleging that miscellaneous account has paid K10 millions for the candidates for the purpose of sharing southern region votes not to go to DPP alone for President Chakwera to win the elections by a landslide victory.
He said God above is watching and is revealing all of the MCPs vote rigging plans to the people wondering how people without names in the country can pay K10 million to stand as presidential candidates while they have no supporters on the ground.
The activist said while millions of Malawians do not want the devil to bounce back into government on the 16th September, 2025 there are a few Malawians that are working with the same devil to win the elections for Malawians to continue suffering for another 5 years.
“We need to pray very hard for the devil not to make it for the second mandate, we have suffered, we have cried and he did not listen to our cries, enough is enough with this devil,” said Kalindo.
He has also alleged that Malawi is blessed to have visitors from other countries who are busy working in MACRA towers to make sure that President Chakwera wins the elections on the 16th September, 2025 claiming that they have finished their job with the North and Centre and they are now in the southern region.
Kalindo said he is foreseeing dangers on the 16th September, 2025 but all this will be impossible with God above Heaven observing that Malawi is not a land of peace advising opposition parties to sit down and have their own plans for the devil to be defeated.
