Former President and Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) leader Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika with dep humility and an unwavering commitment to serve the beloved nation, has been honored to present his 2025 presidential nomination papers in Lilongwe on Friday.
Writing on his official face book Professor Mutharika has invited every Malawian – DPP supporters, undecided registered voters, and all who believe in a brighter future to join him on this journey to the 16th September, 2025 elections.
He has urged Malawians to move forward with courage, determination, and love for the country, the time for renewal is now and the time for action has come saying this not just a political step, but a sacred call to restore hope, dignity, and purposeful leadership in Malawi.
The DPP torchbearer says the challenges Malawians face demand experience, vision, and resolute action guided by faith, patriotism, and the trust Malawians have placed in him over the years saying a step forward once more, not for power, but for service.
“Together we will rebuild a Malawi that works for all, where unity overcomes division and progress replaces stagnation,” reads Professor Mutharika’s writings on the wall.
A concerned citizen of Area 51 in Lilongwe Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda, has asked the DPP to beef up security for Professor Mutharika as he is entering Lilongwe where the MCP and its thugs declared it a no-go zone to opposition parties and activists holding demonstrations.
Kaliza has advised the DPP not to trust security from police and MDF claiming that they are for the MCP as witnessed with the brutal attack on activists Sylvester Namiwa in full view of them and they did not even bother to rescue him from the attackers.
She said Professor Mutharika is the hope for all Malawians regardless of their political party affiliations claiming that his works is peaking for him and he deserve to be the next President of the Republic of Malawi after President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
The citizen has further advised the DPP never and ever allow the presence of police and MDF officers in any of their campaign meetings because they have been proved to be siding with evil of the MCP with memories of killing innocent people.
“Our police and MDF are not for Malawians but they are below the MCP panga wielding thugs who have been terrorizing and hacking innocent people in Lilongwe,” said Kaliza.
She said it has been the prayer of the MCP and its thugs that the DPP goes to the 16th September, 2025 elections without a presidential candidate but God is great, He has spared Mutharika to this day and as such, all DPP members must not trust all that are in Blue to be for them, some are for the devil, the enemy is from within.
