Lilongwe, Malawi — The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Shadow Member of Parliament for Lilongwe City Centre, Peter Mukhito, is gearing up to officially unveil his constituency manifesto this Sunday, marking a significant step in his bid to bring transformative development to the area.
Mukhito, who also holds the influential position of Secretary General of the opposition DPP, revealed that the manifesto launch will be complemented by a football and netball bonanza. The sports event aims to unite residents of Lilongwe City Centre, fostering community spirit and encouraging active participation in the political process.
“This manifesto launch represents a major milestone for the development of Lilongwe City Centre,” Mukhito said. “It is not just about policy, but about creating a new beginning for the people’s lives here. We want to engage the community fully and show our commitment to progress.”

The event is scheduled to take place at the Masambeta Primary School Ground, located within the Lilongwe City Centre Constituency. Residents and supporters are expected to attend in large numbers to hear about Mukhito’s plans for education, infrastructure, social services, and economic empowerment.
