Limpopo FM online radio station, says its five months research on who has gained more between politicians and citizens in five months of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, has revealed that some DPP ministers are very rich than they were before being appointed ministers.
Limpopo FM said Malawians will be disappointed on the day he will reveal names of individuals in the DPP who have accumulated more wealth to themselves forgetting that President Professor Mutharika appointed them to demonstrate servant leadership to the people that voted for the party to bounce back into government on 16th September, 2025 elections.
He has assured Malawians that he stands with Counsel Alexious Kamangila and Sylvester Namiwa quest to assist President Professor Mutharika to fight corruption in Malawi claiming that during the MCP and President Chakwera’s leadership, he was exposing corruption but everything landed into the deaf ears of President Chakwera.
The activist said it is sad that one DPP cabinet minister has received from an Indian two Land cruisers to be favored for contracts and tenders in government, describing this as not a welcoming development in the new government of the DPP.
He has questioned government that the country has billionaires if not trillionares in the names of Prophet Bushiri, Apostle Kawinga, Napoleon Dzombe, Mulli and other prominent business people, why not giving them these government contracts so that in turn they employ Malawians in their industries?
Comrade Ntanyiwa said giving government contracts to the Indians will only benefit that particular Indian and the politician behind issuing the contract saying the profits will go to India and China not in Malawi.
He said Malawi is not poor, but it has politicians doing everything possible that the country be labeled poor while them are richer than Malawi.
The activist has appealed to fellow activists not to be carried away by money offered by those who have destroyed the country through looting and plunder of public resources to speak in their defence saying in this way, corruption cannot be stopped.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said he has been receiving calls to silence him so that he speaks in defence of those that have destroyed the country, but he refuses this that he is worth more than K5 million.
” Let’s demonstrate that we are activists of helping the poor people and not for politicians money to speak for them,” he said.
The activist has encouraged Malawians to be following social media that beside misleading people, they lead, saying it will be foolish for an activist to tell people not to listen to social media.
He said one can fight for his country with words, the message will reach out to many dismissing claims which are being made by some people that activists speaking from outside this country, are hiding.
Comrade Ntanyiwa said time will come for these activists to go back home reminding Malawians that Chakufwa Thom Chihana and Kamlepo Kalua, they were in activism for Malawi in exile, it doesn’t matter to be in exile or within Malawi.
