Dalitso Kabambe Promises Economic Revival if Elected Under UTM

Chitipa, Malawi – UTM presidential candidate Dalitso Kabambe has pledged to revive Malawi’s struggling economy if elected during the upcoming September 16, 2025 elections.

Speaking at whistle-stop rallies in Misiku, Boma, and Chendo in Chitipa District, Kabambe told supporters that Malawians deserve a government that focuses on restoring the country’s economic stability.

“I am a doctor who heals the economy. If you vote for UTM, our first priority will be to rebuild the economy so that people can afford basic goods and buy fertilizer at a lower price,” said Kabambe.

Kabambe, who served as former Reserve Bank Governor, emphasized that Malawi needs leadership that can stabilize the economy and bring real change. He was accompanied by UTM Northern Region Governor Moses Mulenga and his wife Bridget Kabambe during the campaign tour.
