Chiponda, in February this year, emerged winner of a fully paid one week trip to Dubai worth K5 million in the promotion.
She leaves the country through Kamuzu International Airport accompanied by a Ntcheu-based Health Surveillance Assistant (HSA), Esther Nyozani.
Speaking at the airport Chiponda said, for her prize she was given a chance to choose anyone to accompany her on the trip. She therefore decided to go with the HSA whom she said is among health workers doing great job of helping people in the country.
In her remarks Esther Nyozani thanked the minister for her kind gesture.
“I have never met the minister and this is my first time. When I received a call from the [Health] Ministry that I was selected to accompany the minister during the trip, I was overwhelmed and God bless our minister and Airtel,” said Nyozani.
