Local small and medium entrepreneurs are hoping for better business opportunities ahead of their participation in two upcoming trade exhibitions.
First will be a National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises – NASME organised SME International Trade Fair in Lilongwe between the 1st and 5th of next month.
A month later, the SMEs will also participate in the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry – MCCCI’s Malawi International Trade Fair slated for 21 to 31 July.
Coming after a two-year Covid-induced break, the MCCCI event will attract exhibitors from the Southern African Development Community, East African Community and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa.
NASME’s National Coordinator, William Mwale has pointed out that apart from showcasing their products, such fairs offer participants the platform to negotiate lucrative business deals.
