Premier Bet Dedza Dynamos FC coach Andrew Bunya is confident that his team can secure a positive result in the first leg of their Airtel Top 8 encounter against Silver Strikers on Wednesday at Silver Stadium.
Despite acknowledging the challenge of playing away from home, Bunya emphasized that his team is ready to put up a fight.
Notably, the team will miss the services of captain Lughano Kayira, midfielder Ochaya Okoti Otim, and striker Samson Olatubosun Tijani, among others.
“We know it won’t be an easy game, especially considering Silver Strikers’ current form in the league,” Bunya said in a press conference on Tuesday.
“However, we’re going into the game with a positive mindset, determined to bring home a good result.”
He expressed encouragement with his players’ performance, despite the absence of key players due to injuries.
“Those available have seized the opportunity to fight for the team, and it’s a positive sign for us,” he noted.
The two teams previously faced each other in the first round of the TNM Super League at Dedza Stadium, ending in a 1-1 draw.
