Donald Trump has been re-elected as the next President of the United States of America(USA) following his victory in the 2024 USA general elections over Democrat Presidential candidate Kamara Harris.
The victory has seen the Republicans also taking over the Senate from the Democrats in what many have described as a tight election.
Reports from global media houses have indicated that Trump has managed to get over 270 electoral votes which is the requirement for one to win in the elections at the expense of Harris who is tied at less than 230 electrol votes .
The turn around of events has been as a result of Trump winning swing States of North Carolina, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin , Michigan and Nevada .
The victory makes Trump the 47th President of the United States of America.
