President of the Chilungamo Party Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, says the upcoming General Elections of 16th September, 2025 have already been rigged, the writing is on the wall for all who have eyes to see demanding for fresh voter registration and calling for immediate courts intervention.
Comrade Jumbe has warned Malawians that if decisive action is not taken now, the nation will walk blindly into a trap from which it may never recover if they don’t rise now and demand electoral justice reminding Malawians that the Zambia President the late Dr. Kenneth David Kaunda once said “Malawi is a dead nation” and this will be proved prophetic.
He says Malawi will not just be a dead nation in name -it will be dead in democracy, dead in truth and dead in the eyes of history observing that a rigged election does not begin on the voting day, it is prepared long before, it starts in the dark corridors where voter registration is manipulated.
Writing on his face book page, Comrade Jumbe, says rigging elections starts with where ghost voters will be deliberately omitted in the voters roll and where opposition strongholds are weakened saying many people have raised the alarm before, but warnings alone will not save the nation.
Jumbe has advised the opposition parties that if they continue with their campaigns without first addressing the compromised voters roll, they will only be marching toward their own political graves reminding them that the election conducted under a broken system will never produce a fair result.
He has encouraged the opposition parties to take the battle to the courts before it is too late saying there must be a fresh and transparent voter registration exercise to ensure that Malawians are not walking into a predetermined defeat.
The President has advised the opposition parties to move swiftly, united and fearless saying this is not about political parties-this is about the soul of the nation observing that a rigged election today sets a dangerous precedent for the future.
“A rigged election tells the youth that their votes do not matter, that their voices can be stolen before they even speak,” reads Comrade Alhaji Jumbe’s writings on the wall.
He has further warned opposition parties that if they ignore the warning and continue with their rallies and campaigns, they will only be part of a grand performance –a show designed to give legitimacy to an already stolen election.
Comrade Jumbe says the time is now, the alarm has been sounded, let no one say they were not warned, if they allow this rigging to stand today, it will be the foundation of weakening the country’s democracy and Malawi will be not only a dead nation, but, the buried nation with no hope of resurrection saying the choice is before them to fight for justice or they will watch democracy wither away.
