Dr. Kabambe calls for youth involvement in UTM for national development

By Burnett Munthali

Dr. Dalitso Kabambe has outlined an ambitious vision for Malawi’s economic transformation.

He stated that within just five years, the government has the capability to open more than ten large-scale mines, construct modern industrial facilities, and boost commercial agriculture.

His remarks come at a crucial time when political parties are gearing up for the upcoming elections, with various leaders outlining their development strategies.

According to Kabambe, achieving this ambitious plan will require a committed and visionary leadership that prioritizes economic growth and sustainable development.

He emphasized that for this vision to materialize, his party needs individuals who are passionate about transforming Malawi.

He, therefore, called on Malawians—especially the youth—to join the UTM Party and be part of the movement that seeks to drive national progress.

Kabambe stressed the importance of youth participation in politics and governance.

He argued that young people play a crucial role in shaping the future of the nation.

He encouraged them to become active members of UTM so they could contribute meaningfully to policy formulation and implementation.

In his view, youth involvement in politics is not only about voting but also about taking leadership roles in decision-making bodies that influence national development.

As the political landscape intensifies ahead of the next general elections, Kabambe expressed confidence that UTM will secure a significant number of parliamentary seats and local government positions.

He noted that the party’s increasing support base is a clear indication that Malawians are embracing its development-oriented policies.

He believes that with a strong representation in government, UTM will be well-positioned to implement its policies and fulfill its promises to the people.

Among those who have recently joined UTM is Kaitano Simwaka.

Simwaka openly expressed his admiration for the party’s policies.

He stated that he was particularly attracted to UTM’s focus on economic development.

He described the party’s economic policies as clear and practical.

He believes that the party’s policies provide a realistic roadmap for addressing the country’s economic challenges and unlocking its full potential.

As the campaign season gains momentum, Kabambe’s call for youth involvement in UTM is likely to attract attention.

This appeal may particularly resonate among young voters who are looking for leadership that prioritizes development.

With Malawi facing pressing economic challenges, the role of political parties in shaping policies that promote sustainable growth remains critical.

Whether UTM’s vision will resonate with the wider electorate remains to be seen.

Kabambe’s call for an active and engaged youth in politics highlights the increasing recognition of young people as key players in national development.
