Kalindo expresses concern about Malawian deportees from South Africa

Political activist Bon Kalindo has expressed his concern over Malawians that are being deported from South Africa saying had it been that the Malawi Embassy in South Africa intervened in giving them papers, these people would not have been arrested and deported.

Kalindo said many Malawians are being arrested and deported in South Africa making one to wonder the presence of the Malawi High Commissioner to South Africa on whether he is working for the citizens or he is there for his own personal businesses.

He said it is sad that Malawians are being arrested and deported without the office of the High Commissioner to intervene appealing to the Malawian High Commissioners in Zimbabwe and South Africa to work together on how best to assist Malawians in South Africa.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said if these Malawians living in South Africa were provided with temporary papers, many people would have to choose coming back home than being arrested and serving jail sentences in the South African prisons.

Kalindo has asked the Malawi High Commissioner to South Africa to wear a human heart to help Malawians that are stranded in South Africa without valid papers to come back home and help in the development of their country.

He said the good job the Malawi High Commissioner to South Africa has done is to allow National Registration Bureau (NRB) officers to be registering Malawians for national Identity Cards, a thing which has never happened before.

The activist said Malawians are all aware that the Malawi Congress Party (MC[P) led government is doing everything possible for it to bounce back into government, but God is angry with them saying this is why God is revealing all the secrets the MCP is making in darkness.

Kalindo said the MCP had 5 good years of correcting the country to move to the right direction, but the country is at the crossroads due to failed leadership, the leadership which has no vision saying this has made Malawians to lose trust in Chakwera as President of the country.

“President Chakwera is a failed leader, there is nothing to write about for him and you find one praising Boma ndilomweli silikuchoka, which government?

He has advised the MACRA to stop Sim card registration starting from early June, 2025 observing that this is another scheme to rig the elections for MCP and President Chakwera to bounce back into government in September, 2025 elections.

Kalindo has assured President Chakwera that he is in that position because of demonstrations and demonstrations should not be treated evil today because he is in power saying Malawians are free to choose a leader of their choice and demonstrations are provided for in the Republican constitution.

He has challenged the MCP and Mec that no matter what, Malawians do not want Smartmatic machine to be used in their country saying Malawians are all prepared to be shot by guns of the MCP Police and arrested but they are rejecting to be fooled on the Smartmatic machine.
