Political activist Bon Kalindo, says Mec rejections for independent audit citing legal, technical and operation concerns, is a wake-up call to the opposition parties that the 16th September, 2025 elections will be held for formalities, Mec will declare Chakwera the winner.
Kalindo said since Mec has spoken itself that it will use the Electronic Device Machines in the transmission of results, it remains to be seen what the opposition parties will do to liberate the country from the hands of the MCP and President Chakwera.
He said this could be the best time to write a joint letter to the international community and the donors boycotting the elections and going to court to stop the elections on the 16th September, 2025 until all electoral concerns are addressed.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has predicted that the 16th September, 2025 elections will be a- bloody elections because Mec which was supposed to be the referee has taken side to favor one candidate who is also a player in the other team.
Kalindo has blamed leaders of opposition parties that each one wants to be President saying this is speaking for itself that opposition party leaders are fighting for their personal glory and not the quest to liberate Malawi from continued destruction.
He said there are some politicians within the opposition parties that are derailing the formation of a grand alliance which will take on board all opposition parties to forget their interests and put Malawi first for its development agendas.
The activist said in the UDF, DPP, AFORD and UTM, there are people who are doing everything possible for the Alliance not be formed in the country claiming that these people are seeming to be with them not in good faith, in the night hours, they are for the MCP.
He has predicted that two leaders of the main opposition parties will announce their joining to the MCP, the party which has brought back memories of the MCP of Kamuzu Banda saying their joining will make many Malawians to be surprised with many questions why going to the MCP.
Kalindo has asked Malawians to watch out with visitors that are coming to Malawi that some are coming to help Mec and MCP rig the elections observing that strengthening bilateral ties will be after winning the elections not now when the country is going to the 16th September, 2025 polls.
“These visitors cannot come now to strengthen bilateral ties with Malawi, but have their own agenda with the MCP government to rig the elections,” said Kalindo.
He has finally joined Malawians in extending his heartfelt condolences to the Chitsulo families in Malawi and Lungu’s families in Zambia following the passing of Joyce Chitsulo who until her death, was Deputy Minister of Local Government, Unity and Culture and former President of Zambia Edgar Chagwa Lungu.
Kalindo has advised Malawians to learn to live together as one family regardless of their political party affiliations in these trying times that the people of Zambia and Malawi are one saying this is the same with the late Joyce Chitsulo, that her home is in Malawi.
