Political activist Bon Kalindo, has advised opposition politicians joining MCP alliance to forget about votes from the people claiming that Malawians are all aware that some other opposition leaders and MPs have pocketed money from MCP to destabilize opposition alliance.
Kalindo said it is sad that in the DPP itself, there are MPs who are doing everything possible for the opposition alliance to fail by making sure that all the big positions go to them taking other partners as useless and not important.
He said he has identities of notable opposition MPs who have pocketed huge money from MCP to destabilize opposition alliance against the MCP to make sure that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera bounces back into government on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo said research conducted by Malawi First has established that Malawians are not supporting MCP alliance but opposition alliance for change of government on the 16th September, 2025.
Kalindo said according to the research, if there is a party in Malawi which Malawians wants it to be deregistered by the Registrar of Political Parties is the MCP claiming that Malawians are tired and have said enough is enough with the MCP.
He has warned opposition leaders and MPs that whosoever joined MCP alliance, is out of the race for presidential and parliamentary seat and should not expect party members and supporters to follow him only his family members.
“If you join the MCP alliance don’t be deceived that party members and supporters will follow you, you have gone yourself, your wife and children, party members and supporters are with the opposition alliance,” said Kalindo.
He has accused Malawi leaders of lacking humanity saying President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera is in Nigeria and his Vice Dr. Michael Usi is in Mozambique coming from a country which has no forex, no medicines in hospitals, sugar being bought at K5000 and majority of the citizens have no hope for a better tomorrow.
The activist said in those countries where President Chakwera and Usi have travelled to, there are ambassadors who can be delegated to represent Malawi in those functions to save billions of Dollars to channeled to equally important projects even subsidizing the price of sugar.
He said President Chakwera has been proved that he has no welfare of his citizens at heart claiming that Malawians are in pain and suffering, they are crying aloud to him but he is not listening to their cries, he only cares to himself and his family.
Kalindo has finally advised opposition parties minus those who have gone to the MCP to work together and reach one common purpose of liberating the country out of the dirty hands of the MCP who are doing everything possible for Malawi to go back to one-party state and dictatorship.
