Jumah says Malawi needs a Revolution at 61 years

By Vincent Gunde

President of the Revolutionary party- Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party (MRP) Bantu Saunders Jumah, says Malawi needs a Revolution to restore discipline in government saying as the country has clocked 61 years of independence, there is need to call for a dialogue meeting for Malawians to come together of what to do for the country to move forward.

Jumah said presidents of all political parties, church leaders and organizations and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) must reflect back to the 61st Independence anniversary in a National Indaba or symposium of what they can do for their country to be registering meaningful development.

He said for 61 years of independence, the country is suffering because of politics advising the country’s leaders to confess that they are doing stupid or savagery politics which is not helping in any way for the country to move forward.

Speaking through a Revolutionary voice, Jumah has observed that the country cannot move forward with the ideas of one party in government alone saying it is not a surprise that national events are politicized and there is one political language without unity.

Jumah has called for the country to adopt a new law that will remove political stupidity of politicizing national events so that national events are treated to accommodate all political parties and people of diverse views all wearing national colors.

He said national events should not be used by a political party in government to air vulgar languages that can destroy the country advising political players to stop politicizing national events, and self-gratification in front of opposition parties as if the day is a political event.

The Revolutionary leaders said President of Botswana Advocate Duma Gideon Boko made a powerful speech at a State Banquette hosted by President Chakwera at the Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe that brought faces of all down including President Chakwera himself calling for the spirit of confession when things are not good.

He said Malawi politicians are taking politics as an industry of profit making, they cannot hand over power to their enemies observing that they are clinging to power when they know pretty well that Malawians don’t want them in government.

Jumah has advised Malawi politicians to emulate the handover power as observed in Botswana, Zambia describing Advocate Duma Gideon Boko as a Revolutionary than a conservative or capitalist observing that his speech proved that he knew that President Chakwera want the country to go into bloodshed because he doesn’t want to concede that he has failed Malawians.
