A Concerned Citizen of Malawi Rodrick Junaid Kalumpha, has called upon the police and all responsible ministers supporting Nsundwe thugs to act swiftly on those who damaged, vandalized and stole all chickens at Central Poultry farms in Lilongwe.
Kalumpha expressed fears that the country is already reeling from low investments and there are people who are scaring the already trade investors who are within the country describing the attack on Central Poultry farms as a serious threat to the country’s economy.
He says what has happened at Nsundwe where thuggish community has ransacked, destroyed the farms and stole chickens causing damage and loss worth billions of Kwacha, is very unfortunate and must bring out anger from all Malawians.
Writing on his face book page, Kalumpha has called on the MCP government and law authorities to come out and condemn the attack on Central Poultry farms in strongest terms, urging them to go there, arrest and jail everyone –even if it means the entire population of Nsundwe.
Kalumpha has claimed that Nsundwe has been known for thuggish behavior since 2019 when the country was in endless demonstrations for electoral justice in court armed with pangas, catapults and other offensive weapons and to this day, they are a threat to national security.
He says some Nsundwe thuggish community have even gone on to proudly but misguided call themselves as “Nsundwe Barracks” observing that the truth of the matter is that there is no Barracks in Nsundwe, Nsundwe is just one community -known for violence.
“We can’t condone that as a nation, a Barracks is an enclave for the Army-not a community that gets renowned for lawlessness,” reads Kalumpha’s writings on the wall.
Kalumpha has finally urged law enforcers to make sure that among the people of Nsundwe, there are a majority who are law- abiding saying these must be protected while the rest forming up the violent Nsundwe Barracks must be jailed.
Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda of Area 51 in Lilongwe, has praised Minister of Trade Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba for visiting Central Poultry farms in Lilongwe and ordering the police to arrest all those that attacked the farms and stole all chickens.
Kaliza has claimed that for 5 years of President Chakwera, MCP thugs have been left scot-free, untouchables but the coming in of Vitumbiko Mumba has proved that the rule of law must be respected saying this is what is making Mumba a darling to all including opposition parties.
She has called upon Mumba to order for the arrests of those thugs who have been terrorizing, hacking, intimidating and threatening innocent people in Malawi assuring Vitumbiko that if these are not arrested, his running mate position to President Chakwera, will play no impact.
“Malawians have lost trust in President Chakwera, if you fail to arrest these MCP thugs, your campaign trail will hit a snag and the same Malawians will lose trust in you, Vitumbiko Mumba,” said Kaliza.
