Limpopo FM accuses Vitumbiko Mumba of planning to hack BMTV

By Vincent Gunde

Limpopo FM radio station has accused Malawi Congress Party (MCP) running mate Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba of allegedly working with McPhallen Ngwinjiri, an IT expert for an agenda of hacking both Bakili Muluzi TV and Limpopo FMs face book pages.

Man behind Limpopo FM, Comrade Ntanyiwa has alleged that he has audio clips which are linking Vitumbiko Mumba that he has given Ngwinjiri K50 million for the two face book pages to be out of the scene by their readers and off-air in the run-up to the 16th September, 2025 elections.

Comrade Ntanyiwa has assured Ngwinjiri that the money he has received as per the audios he is in possession with he will share in various social media platforms, he should just eat the money, he is too young to hack their pages.

He said Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba was supposed to be quiet after his choice by President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera as his running mate reminding Malawians that MCP Constitution allows the party’s Vice President to be the running mate saying the rightful position holder was Catherine Gotani Hara.

The activist said the choice of Mumba as President Chakwera’s running mate was made without consultations of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) clearly speaking for itself that the running mate has become MCP Vice President.

The activist has advised Mumba to concentrate on his role as MCP running mate of what the MCP will do to the people after bouncing back into government on the 16th September, 2025 elections than spending money with the intention of putting off air Bakili Muluzi TV and Limpopo FM.

He has assured Mumba that there were others before him who tried their best to hack pages of Bakili Muluzi TV and Limpopo FM including funding police detectives hunting and killing them wherever they are, but have failed.

“Bakili Muluzi TV and Limpopo FM radio are protected by the entire Malawian society, killing us is killing Malawi and Malawians following our pages will not sit down and watching, they will speak against the country’s leaders,” said Comrade Ntanyiwa.

He has reminded Mumba of his shady deals in government such as K5 million NOCMA, k1.2 billion Nsanje Railway line, K5 billion passport deal which has forced Immigration offices closed, K23 billion fertilizer meant for AIP, and K30 billion Government to Government fuel deals.

On renaming and naming of some historical infrastructures in Malawi, Comrade Ntanyiwa has described all those who took part in the renaming of Chileka International Airport to Bakili Muluzi as useless people wanting to delete the history of Malawi for political reasons.

Ntanyiwa said if the idea was for President Chakwera to be loved by people of the Southern Region so that they vote for him on the 16th September, 2025 elections, this has failed saying Malawians have already made their informed decisions not to vote for him.

He has appealed to the in-coming President of the Republic of Malawi to bring back the name of Phalombe District Hospital not Chilembwe, and relocating offices which were in Blantyre and Zomba back for one Malawi, one nation.
