A voice of the voiceless citizen of Malawi Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, has advised opposition political parties and their leaders not to be carried away by the size of political rallies saying crowds are not victory-a crowd is not company and faces are not food.
Comrade Jumbe says he is having a conviction that the MCP has already rigged the 16th September, 2025 elections observing that the handwriting is on the wall, advising opposition leaders that if they walk blindly into this trap, they are preparing themselves for another 5 years of pain, poverty, and perhaps more bloodshed.
He has claimed that Malawi Congress Party (MCP) has never ruled with mercy, it has always governed with the iron hand of mafiesto politics observing that when a regime shows no compassion, it is like a leopard that never changes its spots.
Writing on his face book page, Comrade Jumbe has claimed that the opposition parties lost the election when they refused to take seriously the rigging that started long before campaigns pointing at data of the Mec-the number of voters registered in Southern and Eastern Regions compared to the Central and Northern Regions, there is in balance which is not an accident, but it was designated.
Comrade Jumbe has claimed that the voters’ roll is littered with minors, double registrations, and ghost voters, yet Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) is continuing resisting an independent audit a development which is posing a threat to acceptance of the election results.
He says President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has been buying votes from the registered voters with taxpayers’ money through hosting of feasts at State Houses saying this is not democracy, this is theft dressed in the clothes of elections.
The citizen has further advised opposition parties that the cheering multitude does not translate into ballots counted, saying there is no need to trust opinion polls that declare Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika the winner.
“Numbers on paper are meaning nothing when the system has already been rigged at the roots,” reads Comrade Jumbe’s writings on the wall.
He has reminded opposition leaders that he once called for a boycott of these 16th September, 2025 elections not because he feared the ballot, but because he saw the trap being laid warning them that if they go blindly into these September, 2025 elections, they will reap the thorns of regret.
Comrade Jumbe says the 16th September, 2025 elections are not just about politics, it is about the survival of their nation, about justice for their children, about the very soul of Malawi saying the destiny of Malawi cannot be left in the hands of thieves.
He has advised Malawians to remain vigilant, they must speak truth, and guard their vote with courage saying otherwise, the oven of suffering will only grow hotter, and the poor man will pay the price while the corrupt feast on their sweat.
Comrade Jumbe has finally advised registered voters that the choice before them is clear, either they defend their future now, or they watch it stolen in broad daylight.
