UDF presidential candidate Atupele Muluzi told Nation Online that the manifesto, titled “Kutukula Malawi Mwa Makono” (Developing Malawi Through Modernisation), offers a fresh blueprint for Malawi’s future.

According to Muluzi, the party’s plan focuses on three key pillars:

Ending hunger by investing in agriculture and food security.

Reviving the economy through sustainable policies that create jobs and restore growth.

Putting people first by prioritising the needs and welfare of Malawians.

“This is the beginning of a plan that will tackle hunger, revive our economy, and put people at the centre of development,” said Muluzi.

A Vision for Change

Muluzi emphasised that the UDF is the only political party with a clear vision to transform Malawi’s future for all citizens. He called on Malawians to witness the launch, describing it as a “historic moment in the nation’s political history.”

Entertainment at the Launch

The manifesto launch will also feature live performances from Amapiano star Zeze Kingston and local artist Jetu, making it both a political and entertainment event.
