A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, has thanked the High Court of Malawi final verdict of sensing the Smartmatic machine to Rest in Peace saying the verdict has proved that there is God of the living and not of the dead.
Kamphangala said many Malawians were fearing of the outcome of the 16th September, 2025 elections that it will not be free, fair, credible and transparent because the MEC rejected independent auditors from auditing the voters roll and Mec to use the Smartmatic machine for transmission of results from Constituency to the main tally centre in Lilongwe.
He said God has showed his greatness through High Court Judge Chimbigzani Kacheche who on Thursday delivered justice in the interest of all except for the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.
In the final verdict, Judge Kacheche ordered the Mec to make sure that there will be manual counting of votes and manual transmission of votes from Constituency to the main tally centre and no results will be announced without manual tabulation.
Kamphangala said the court has now encouraged registered voters to go in their large numbers to vote for candidates of their choice saying the votes casted are the ones to be counted for not the Smartmatic machines counting their votes.
He said the verdict itself has dismissed MCPs vote rigging schemes that President Chakwera and his MCP would bounce back into government under the sponsorships of the Smartmatic machines assuring Malawians that the elections are now going to be free and fair.
The MCP diehard said there have been alleged reports that the MCP is tampering with vote rigging in telecommunication towers, 21 journalists from MBC, Zodiak and Times to be recruited to be airing fake results from MCP created parallel tally centres, saying all these are now resting in Peace.
“God cannot be happy to see his children been crying for no answers, he provides the way where there is no way,” said Kamphangala.
Political activist Bon Kalindo said the 2025 elections are being driven by God observing that the verdict has come from High Court Judge to Mec and to Justice Annabel Mtalimanja who is also a judge to hear what God is saying that Malawians have rejected the use of Smartmatic machines.
Kalindo has encouraged voters to patronize all polling centres across the country in their large numbers to vote out President Chakwera and his MCP without mercy and forgiveness for inflicting untold pain and sufferings to the poor citizens in his 5 year’s term of office and for the country’s brighter future.
He has appealed to all those that will vote on the 16th September, to stand 100 meters away from the polling stations to protect their vote from suspected people who are prepared to do whatever is possible for them to bounce back into government.
“Let’s go to vote on the 16th September without fear, the court has sided with us, party monitors must be strong people to stand against any pressures coming from the devils,” said Kalindo.
