Vice President-elect Justice Jane Ansah led Holy Communion at Christ Citadel in Area 47 on Sunday, 28 September 2025, using the occasion to preach forgiveness and unity.
During the service, she reflected on the pain her family endured during the 2019 unrest, which was sparked by online attacks and criticism.
Despite the challenges and hardships of the past, Ansah emphasised that she has consciously chosen forgiveness as a guiding principle in her personal and public life.
She received blessings from all church leaders and members of the congregation, who joined her in prayer and solidarity.
Ansah called on Malawians to embrace love, uphold integrity, and adhere to Christian values as the nation moves forward under new leadership.
The service underscored her commitment to reconciliation and highlighted her vision of fostering unity and compassion across the country in her role as Vice President.
