Lawyer Silvester Ayuba James, has claimed that President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his Malawi Congress Party (MCP) government goofed a big time on international diplomatic strategy a development which earned him not to be trusted within and outside the country.
Ayuba James who is an MCP diehard has reminded Malawians that at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) outgoing President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera voted for continuation of genocide in the Gaza city, Malawi beside it too small and poor, was the only African country to vote for continuation of the war between Israel and Gaza.
South Africa, Malawi’s trusted political and economic trade partner, voted for a stop of the war while Britain, a country which provide the much needed support to Malawi abstain, a development which surprised millions of Malawians that began to questioning among themselves that Is Chakwera really an ordained Priest?
Writing on his face book page, Ayuba James says President Chakwera voted for war between Israel and Gaza, he did not care of the lives of people being lost due to Israeli’s bombardment of Gaza and tomorrow he knocks at the doors of Arab countries looking for affordable government to-government fuel supply.
Ayuba James says President Chakwera and his delegation travelled to Arab countries such as Oman, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saud Arabia expected to be assisted with urgency and kindness forgetting that yesterday he voted for war siding with Israel.
He says Malawi was the first African government to declare intentions to erect an embassy in Jerusalem-Israel against the dictates of international law and clear United Nations (UN) Resolutions forgetting how strategic Arab countries are in fuel and fertilizer deals.
He says if President Chakwera had international diplomatic strategy, he would have put to his mind not to appoint a Sheikh as an ambassador to the Vatican State or to Israel, so too, appointing a Christian as head of the diplomatic mission to completely Muslim Arab countries.
Ayuba James has noted that President Chakwera did that countless times including most recently to Morocco observing that he spent his whole 5 years showing the Arabs a diplomatic middle finger and yet, he expected to be assisted by them in so many ways.
The lawyer has described President Chakwera as a man who even lacking the basic political and diplomatic wisdom claiming that on leadership, he failed in all aspects, Malawians have nothing to write about him.
He says Malawians must accept that President Chakwera failed in his leadership styles yet he came in following the court-sanctioned 23rd June, 2020 presidential elections, the time Malawians needed the sharpest minds.
Ayuba James says President Chakwera was a disaster from the beginning he was voted into office in 2020 saying he has undressed Malawians with his American tongue, and has left Malawians in poverty, he has killed many Malawians with hunger, and has destroyed the MCP.
“Ambuye, ngati kuli kukhululuka, mumukhululukire ndinu, ine ayi, I cannot pretend as he does,” reads Ayuba James writings on the wall.
