Business entrepreneur Kondwani Kachamba Ngwira, says it is too early to conclude that MBC Director General George Kasakula was forced to apologize reminding Malawians that he is a politician and hated President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika most.
Kachamba Ngwira says Kasakula is a pro- MCP, he attacked Professor Mutharika left, right unprovoked, Mutharika never attacked him back saying anything can happen including propaganda advising Malawians to give time for investigation into the matter.
He says if it happens that Kasakula was forced by known party people, then he will come open to condemn, but if the investigations reveal it’s a stunt to gain public sympathy and attention, then he will condemn the stunt as well.
Mutharika vows to see discipline and sanity in government
Aa Law Professor based in Cape Town- South Africa Danwood Mzikenge Chirwa, says Kasakula is the architect of his own downfall and misfortune observing that he was supposed to be an experienced media giant to whom many young journalists looked for inspiration and mentorship.
Professor Chirwa said Kasakula is a deeply flawed individual who deserves no respect nor sympathy from any right thinking member of the society that he should never hold any public office or any leadership position in private media.
‘Malawians don’t need any assistance from the likes of Kasakula, and other shit-stars to hold it accountable,” he said.
Social media influencer Mneneri Joshua Chisa Mbele, says on Friday morning, thugs allegedly belonging to DPP staged a darling act by breaching security establishment of the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC television).
Chisa Mbele said these thugs grabbed the Director General Mr. George Kasakula by the neck, put him in front of the live rolling cameras and instructed him to issue an apology coming from deep down his heart to Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and his wife, Getrude Mutharika and the entire DPP.
He said the act in itself is treasonous, it is the exact replica of coup d’etat observing that the thugs could have easily announced to the nation that they have now taken over the government, Constitution is suspended and Professor Mutharika and his senior cabinet members are currently under arrest.
