DPP leaders gather to appreciate voter support following September 2025 General Election

Vice-President Jane Ansah on Sunday afternoon addressed a “thank you” rally at St. Augustine 2 Primary School in Mangochi.
The event was organised to acknowledge and appreciate the overwhelming support the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) received from Mangochi voters during the September 16, 2025 General Election.
The rally drew significant attention, with thousands of party supporters attending to hear from the Vice-President and senior party leaders.
Several key ministers were in attendance, including Bright Msaka, Minister of Education.
Feston Kaupa, Minister of Transport, also joined the gathering to show support and solidarity with the party’s leadership.
Honourable Roza Mbilizi, Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development, was present to engage with constituents and reinforce the government’s development agenda.
Shadric Namalomba, Minister of Information, attended the rally, highlighting the importance of communication and transparency between the party and the public.
The event provided a platform for the DPP leadership to personally thank Mangochi residents for their trust and votes in the recent elections.
Vice-President Ansah used the occasion to reassure citizens that the party remains committed to delivering on its campaign promises.
The rally further emphasized unity among party leaders and their shared goal of fostering development across the Eastern Region.
