One of the activist who fought courageously in the battle of liberating the country from the shackles of MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s dictatorship and quest to return the country to a one-party rule – Karonga Boys, has thanked the DPP for conducting ”Thank you Rallies” to the voters.
Karonga Boys said to liberate the country from the hands of the MCP flanked by the party’s armed thugs who were above MDF and Police officers, was not easy claiming that other people were hacked with pangas and others are suffering various degrees of injuries as they were running away from panga wielding thugs.
He said President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika was voted into government not only by DPP members and supporters but Malawians saying some of the Chewas who are members of the MCP were also part of those that were hacked and terrorized.
Speaking through an audio clip, Karonga Boys said thanking people for the good job of voting for a new government to care of them is speaking for itself that in those officials going around in districts thanking the people, there is humanity encouraging the DPP to continue with this good work.
Karonga Boys said ousting President Chakwera and his MCP government out of power was not a one- man show, there are people who sacrificed their hearts to die for the country’s change of leadership to Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika besides receiving death threats through phone calls from panga wielding thugs.
He said these people deserve a special thank you not for petty allowances but appreciation that they did not suffer for nothing and that there suffering has made the country to be in what it is today and without them, MCP could not go out of government.
The activist has urged DPP senior officials that in their rallies they are conducting across the country, they need to stand at a podium praising various individuals such as Bon Kalindo, Lytone Mangochi, Pastor Moses Shumba, Hon. Kamlepo Kalua, Bakili Muluzi TV, and Comrade Ntanyiwa among others, for enlightening Malawians on the need to vote out the MCP without mercy.
He said in between these activists, there were prominent journalists who stood by their pens to write the truth and not praising the government of the MCP and President Chakwera who paid deaf ears not listening to the cries of the citizens.
“Burnet Munthali, Suleman Chitela, Jones Gadama, and others, had their writings influenced change of leadership from Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, no amount of money should be shared to them but only appreciations,” said Karonga Boys.
He has urged each and every one to have special prayers to pray for the country, genuine activists, journalists, and opposition political party leaders that if President Chakwera and the MCP succeeded in their vote rigging scheme, these people would have by today slaughtered of their heads with pangas.
