The daughter of the former President of this country, Violet Chakwera, has been asked to return home from her post at Malawi’s embassy in the United Kingdom.
This follows a letter written by the Principal Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr Bright Molande.
According to the letter, the government has started reducing the number of staff working in Malawi’s embassies abroad so that only five employees remain.
Ms Chakwera has been given three months to prepare for the journey back home.
