A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, has urged farmers still keeping maize in their warehouses with the aim of selling it at K200,000 per 50 Kilogram bag to sell the maize in as soon as yesterday.
Kampahangala said he had time to visit ADMARC silos in Kanengo- Lilongwe where he saw for himself trucks loaded with maize offloading it speaking for itself that President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika promises nothing but the truth.
He said President Professor Mutharika is on record that no Malawian will die of hunger claiming that these words have been proved to be true, in some parts of the country a bag of 50 Kilogram maize is being sold at K35,000.
The MCP diehard has praised President Professor Mutharika for demonstrating to Malawians that he has the welfare of his people at heart claiming that the five years of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera were very painful full of cries.
He said shame should go to President Chakwera and his MCP led government who have been advocating for no vote to Professor Mutharika because he is old, fragile and incapacitated saying the old person is the one feeding MCP members and supporters.
Kamphangala has appealed to MCP members and supporters never and ever to be deceived that President Professor Mutharika has failed to deliver ever since he was voted into office on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
He said MCP members and supporters have proved for themselves that President Chakwera was an inexperienced driver who knew nothing and did nothing in government saying the country is now being driven by an experienced driver.
The MCP diehard has advised MCP members and supporters to forget about the party’s bouncing back into government anymore saying MCP was given chance to rule the country even though climbing on the back of UTM but they squandered the chance.
“God gives one time to do and correct his mistakes, if he fails to correct his mistakes, there is no second chance, MCP no more bouncing back into government,” said Kamphangala.
He has asked Malawians to think deeply that if a bag of Maize is being sold at K35,000 in January, 2026 from K100,000 in January, 2024 saying those MCP members and supporters who are labelling Professor Mutharika a failure, they are failures themselves as they don’t know what they are speaking about.
Kamphangala has finally appealed to MCP members and supporters to join him in supporting President Professor Mutharika to fulfil his vision of transforming the country which was destroyed by President Chakwera and his MCP led government from June, 2020 to 16th September, 2025.
