Bakili Muluzi TV online television station has claimed that court judges use the word ‘adjournment” to be rich observing that murder cases and high- profile cases are put on deliberate adjournment so that the rulings attract millions of Kwachas for them to get rich.

Bakili Muluzi TV said those who have stolen a lot of money from government coffers are allegedly using Judge Kenyatta Nyirenda reminding Malawians that Dr. Kondwani Nankhumwa in 2021 used this judge in the Leader of Opposition case and just recently Richard Chimwendo Banda was granted a dubious bail to walk to freedom.

He has reminded that there are backloads of cases which have not seen justice to this day citing 1993 Mohammad Kulesi VS Royal Insurance Company and Rolf Patel VS Press Corporation Limited fighting for Presscane Company.

The activist has claimed that one senior judge is seating on 30 cases for judgement observing that some judges are retiring without concluding their cases saying in 2002 the Finance Bank of Malawi Limited was using fake stolen cheaques and used to send forex to India.

He said a judicial review was ordered against the Bank but the owner of the Bank voluntarily closed the Bank in Malawi in 2025 saying in 2013 the Bank was opened in Malawi under a new name the New Finance Bank and 5 years after, it registered losses, it was sold to Nedbank.

The activist said in Zambia, it was closed in 2010 for Money Laundering charges and was sold in 2016 questioning court judges when was the case of the Finance Bank of Malawi first heard in the Malawi courts for justice to be delivered in January, 2026?

He said Majaheni Gondwe of Rumphi in 1972 Kamuzu Banda confiscated all property belonging to him saying 44 years down the line, family members are still moving up and down in justice delayed is justice denied.

Bakili Muluzi TV said Malawians cannot pay compensation of K5 trillion for a case that happened 26 years ago saying this K5 trillion will be paid by the judges themselves for delaying the case advising judges to pay for their own fault.

”Before Malawians pay this K5 trillion, let them know all judges who have been sitting on the Finance Bank of Malawi judgement for 26 years, government must change the laws that whoever judge delays to give justice- he will cough up compensations from his pocket.

He has called on the new government of the DPP to review, revisit and amend the country’s laws saying it is heart- breaking to learn over 1,400cases are lying in courts a waiting for ruling saying Malawians have learnt a big lesson from the activities of court judges.

Bakili Muluzi TV has finally reminded Malawians that on the 3rd February, 2020 the very same Judges who made a ruling for a judicial coup in Malawi are the same who have ordered Malawians to compensate a dead Bank for loss of business whose owner voluntarily closed its operations in Malawi in 2005.
