Political activist Bon Kalindo, has given the Roads Fund Administration (RFA) seven days to explain to Malawians on why there are so many potholes on the roads of Malawi.

Kalindo said the roads of Malawi are death- traps making one to wonder that is this the once so called Warm Heart of Africa?

He said the M1 road with toll gates at Kalinyeke in Dedza and Chingeni in Ntcheu, is subject to discussion questioning the authorities what are they doing with the revenue collected from these toll gates?

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has called on motorists to revolt against the Roads Fund Administration to stop collecting K2000s from them claiming that the money which is being collected is not used for the intended purposes.

Kalindo has asked officers of the Roads Fund Administration that if they cannot fill the potholes and leaving it as it is today, the better they can do, is to resign for others to take over.

He has called on Malawians to woke- up for Roads Fund Administration which is not giving motorists the best they can to enjoy driving on the roads of Malawi.

” Almost all the roads of Malawi have deep potholes, there are frequent breakdowns of vehicles on the roads, we need to rise up for demos against them,” said Kalindo.

He has again reported the passport woos to Minister of Homeland Security Peter Mukhitho that Malawians are still struggling for passports besides his Deputy Norman Chisale visiting the Immigration Department in Lilongwe.

Kalindo said the passport situation is very worse in South Africa where Malawians living in that country are not assisted at the Embassy and it is not surprising that many Malawians are being arrested for no documentations.

On Amaryllis Hotel sale, Kalindo said he has made his research on who did that and this and he is only waiting for a parliamentary committee on Public Inquiry to presents its findings to President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika.
.
He has appealed to Malawians to give the parliamentary committee time to do its work claiming that all those who abused Covid-19 pandemic funds, are out of jail and others receiving presidential pardon.
